Tidbit Thursday!

Hey, all. Sorry for missing Tidbit Thursday last week. Things got super busy and between work and other things going on, I unfortunately forgot. BUT, I am here today to release a tidbit of Love and Snowball Fights. One of my Christmas novellas. In this story, Lane is a lonely young man who has hitched his way through the States until he reaches a town called Christmas Valley. He allows himself to finally grow attached to a place and even goes as far as adopting a three-legged cat he names Chloe. But he begins to rethink his decision of remaining in the charming little town when his boss's brother comes in for a visit.

Blurb:

Lane Freeman supposed there were worse places to be dumped than a place named Christmas Valley. After being ejected from the foster care system, he spent the past five years hitchhiking and moving around. But six months of a steady job at Tal’s Bar and Grill, an apartment, and even a three-legged cat have him almost ready to risk putting down a few roots when Tal’s brother comes home for the holidays.

Dallas firefighter Trey Jenkins reluctantly accepts that Lane isn’t like the other drifters who’ve come through his brother’s place. A fragile attraction begins to bloom between them in spite of the many reasons they each have to fight it. Trey wants to give Lane a family, but experience has taught Lane to depend on no one but himself. Will winter love burn hot in the town called Christmas Valley or will Lane return to his wandering ways?

Trey must have seen the effect he had on Lane, because he stepped closer, forcing Lane the short distance to the wall behind him. "You shouldn't be looking at me like that," Trey growled softly.

Lane licked his lips, trying to find the words. A small groan tore free from Trey and suddenly Lane found himself drowning in Trey's kiss. He gasped, instinctively reaching up to grip Trey's broad shoulders. He couldn't prevent the mewling noise he gave when Trey shoved a hard thigh between his legs, pressing against him. Lane dug his fingers into Trey's muscles, struggling to breathe and feel anything beyond Trey.

"Lane," Trey husked, trailing his lips along Lane's jawline to his throat.

Lust spiraled tighter within Lane as Trey sucked at the skin between his shoulder and neck, hot and wet and oh so obliterating. The towel around Trey's waist loosened and fell, puddling at his feet. Lane felt Trey's stiff length digging into his abdomen and whimpered.

"God, you taste so good," Trey rumbled near his ear, tracing the delicate outer shell with his tongue, sending a ripple of quivers through Lane.

I hope this has helped make up for me missing last week. <3 <3 <3

Have a great weekend, my beautiful readers!
